XPeng MONA L03 Reaches First French Buyers at €35,600
October 28, 2026
XPeng has started handing the MONA L03 to its first customers in France at a sticker price of €35,600, putting a 445 km (WLTP) electric hatch under the cheapest Tesla and within reach of Renault's own electric range. The delivery is the clearest sign yet that China's EV makers are moving from show-stand promises to real garage keys in Western Europe.

XPeng MONA L03: first deliveries start in France
The MONA L03 is the lowest-priced XPeng sold in Europe, and the first units reached French customers this week. The model on offer carries a 58.3 kWh (gross) battery, is rated at 445 km WLTP, and accepts up to 193 kW on a DC fast charger. XPeng showed the car at the Paris Motor Show earlier this month and has positioned it as the brand's volume entry, slotting below the G6 and G9.
The €35,600 starting price matters because it undercuts most mainstream European compact EVs once options are added, while the standard kit — a 29-inch-class cabin display, massage seats in the Ultra trim, and a quiet, well-finished interior — is unusual at the price. For context, Renault's R5 E-Tech and Citroën's ë-C3 sit in the same bracket, and MG's MG4 starts a few thousand euros lower but offers less equipment. Deliveries in the rest of the Euro zone are expected to follow before year-end.
Li Auto i6 debuts in Europe as the "Li 6"

Li Auto used the Paris Motor Show to reveal the Europe-spec version of its best-selling i6 crossover, which will be sold as the Li 6. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the Netherlands and Norway in the first quarter of 2027, with more markets to follow. The car supports eight European languages, Spotify, Apple CarPlay, and localized apps.
The Li 6 rides on an 800V architecture with 5C charging, a 96 kWh ternary (NMC) battery, and a WLTP range of about 640 km. The rear-wheel-drive version makes 250 kW (335 hp) and the dual-motor all-wheel-drive version 400 kW (536 hp). European pricing has not been published yet.
Li Auto refreshes the i6 at home
Back in China, Li Auto launched the updated 2026 i6 on October 28, with deliveries due in early November. The headline change is under the floor: the SUV is the first Li Auto model to drop CATL entirely, using the company's in-house "Lian Shan" 5C battery pack built from cells supplied by CALB and Sunwoda. The 96 kWh pack is rated at 780 km CLTC (about 632 km WLTP), and Li Auto live-streamed an urban endurance run of 811 km from a single charge at 11.8 kWh/100 km.
Other upgrades include ADB matrix headlights, a power front trunk with knock-to-open, dual zero-gravity front seats, and a 29-inch 6K panoramic display plus a 21-inch rear entertainment screen. The model's prior mainland starting point was around 249,800 yuan (≈$36,700); Li Auto has not announced a revised figure in our sources.
